Pediatric Occupational Therapist
The
therapist will provide occupational therapy services to
children ages 0-3 with a variety of delays and
neurodevelopmental impairments. Children are served
according to their individual needs and in accordance with
their Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP). Services
can be provided individually or within classroom settings,
and at Kindering Center or in homes and childcare settings.
Treatment includes but is not limited to gross motor, fine
motor, sensory development, and use of adaptive equipment.
Services include therapy, consultation, and evaluations
using standardized testing and professional observation.
Duties also include writing reports, documenting progress,
assisting in the development and maintenance of IFSPs, and
teaming with parents, speech and language pathologists, and
early childhood special educators.
Experience/interest is desirable in working with feeding
difficulties and/or sensory processing.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational
Therapy, Master’s preferred; possession or qualification for
ESA certificate; valid Washington State professional
license; NDT training preferred.
