COSMOPOLITAN- 17th Annual Auction Gala: An outpouring of support!

The 17th Annual Kindering Auction Gala took place Saturday, November 13th, 2010, at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Seattle and was truly an unforgettable night. The evening kicked off with lively bidding on silent auction items during the cocktail hour followed by auction co-chairs, Sheryl Willert & Ross Jacobson, Esqs. and Drs. Rosita & Reinier Van Coevorden, welcoming guests seated in the Grand Ballroom for dinner.

The live auction started and the night shifted into high gear with Tony Mestres, President of Kindering’s Board of Directors, as the host and our fabulous auctioneer- Brady Hammrich. Together, over 386 guests, sponsors and volunteers raised more than $501,000 for infants and children with special needs. The night was made memorable with our scholarship "raise the paddle" presentation by Don Meyer, Director of Kindering’s Sibling Support Project, which brought in more than $240,000; almost the entire room showed their support for children with special needs by raising their bid cards to support Kindering.
